There are 2 kinds of curiosity. Focused curiosity and curiosity that runs in all directions.
Both have their own benefits. While you’re in the exploration stage and still figuring out your interests, it’s good to be curious about random things. That is, having your curiosity run in all directions.
Once you find what interests you the most and where you’d like to work. Then you can switch over to something called focused curiosity.
In focused curiosity, you try to dig deep and learn more and more in one area. You try to understand the details and learn to get better at this one thing. Curiosity majorly flows in one direction. This saves time and energy.
Know which type of curiosity you need right now and be that kind of curious.
